Pavane pour une infante défunte by Maurice Ravel (1899)

Ravel described the piece as "an evocation of a pavane that a little princess (Infanta) might, in former times, have danced at the Spanish court". The pavane was a slow processional dance that enjoyed great popularity in the courts of Europe during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.

George Gerswhin- Allegro ben ritmato e deciso (Prelude I)

Three Preludes are short piano pieces by George Gershwin which were first performed by the composer at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City in 1926. Each prelude is a well-known example of early 20th century American Classic music, as influenced by Jazz. This version is an arrangement for violin and piano by Jascha Heifitz.

La Précieuse by Fritz Kresiler

Friedrich-Max "Fritz" Kreisler (February 2, 1875 – January 29, 1962) was an Austrian-born American violinist and composer. One of the most noted violin masters of his day, and regarded as one of the greatest violinists of all time, he was known for his sweet tone and expressive phrasing. Like many great violinists of his generation, he produced a characteristic sound which was immediately recognisable as his own. Although it derived in many respects from the Franco-Belgian school, his style is nonetheless reminiscent of the gemütlich (cozy) lifestyle of pre-war Vienna.
